With respect: they would say that wouldn’t they;) But its a load of cobblers. While Rob had to “agree” to let them back out – he did so while still refusing to a/ admit any liability for wrongdoing (as he does not agree that he has done anything wrong), b/ refused to sign a gag order which Sanitarium were desperate for, and c/ refusing to accept that Weetabix in any way infringes Sanitariums trademarks.

Re-labeling of the back of the Marmite jars was something that Rob had agreed to way back when this started. Sanitarium were not happy with that and the “agreement” they expected him to sign came with a host of other stuff that he had not agreed to – and he refused to sign. THAT is why they went to court, and after all the bad press, and months of shit, Sanitarium have ended up with exactly what Rob had agreed to BEFORE they took him to court.

Sanitarium went to HIM to ask for the case to be dropped, and Rob got what he wanted from it. I think its fair to say that any way you look at it – Rob won resoundingly. But nice try on Sanitarium’s part to spin it

(Hopefully Rob will be along at some point to check my facts and make sure I’ve got that right Ive not seen paperwork, but that is my current understanding of the situation )

A friend of mine took a look at the court file with the orders that were made. Case was not dropped as you say. Maybe you need to look at the court orders – seems to me Savage actually lost – can’t ever sell anything Marmite ever again – and he agreed to it! What a Dickhead to spend all that money and then lose!

Yeah – he lost big time sweetie, keep telling yourself and your “friend” that. It won’t be the first time the losers in a case claim they won and the other guy lost, and it won’t be the last – I’ve seen it before. Move on, and accept that he faced Sanitarium down, and ended up with exactly what he agreed to do in the first place. Yes – he spent a LOT of money fighting the Bullies at Sanitarium. You might think that was a total waste of money and that anyone who does that is a “dickhead”, I can only hope that one day you learn to understand what Principles are, and how important it is to fight for them. I hope that one day, you are not faced with the same position of a big company, with unlimited resources telling you what you can and cannot do, what you can and cannot say, and that you (and your family) must admit to breaking a law you haven’t broken, and that you too have the guts to make a stand, and that people don’t call you a Dickhead for standing up to them. I imagine that like Rob, you will also have a huge amount of support in such a case – because very few people like Bullies.

I am sure I will get to see the court orders when they are publicly available, and I will upload them to scribd. Of course if your “friend” would like to share them before they are available, and explain who he is – id be happy to hear from him/her. In the meantime, pallets of UK MARMITE, resplendent in Jubilee packaging, tell their own tale.

Why is it that people who support Sanitarium in this (rare though they are) are always too scared to say who they are???? Have some guts people! Fake accounts, “friends” – sheesh. Oh – except the guy who works in a Lower Hutt Cafe who sent threatening texts to Rob – but I think he was just too thick to hide his mobile number Now that is someone who perhaps deserves the name “Dickhead” simply for being too stupid for words.

Ah, so now the facts start to come out. court documents don’t lie (do they?). Avalon, while you accuse everyone else of having a closed mind it seems at least Gary might have some facts at his fingertips – where are yours? if you are right, let’s publish the court documents on your website for all to see (I’m sure they are available somewhere – perhaps Gary’s friend can help)

Gary-how DARE you refer to my husband as a dickhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He is the most loyal, honest,genuine and likeable man you could ever meet.
Sanitarium came to us (at least their lawyer came to our lawyer) and said we could just relabel the back of our special edition jubilee jars of Ma’amite and we would be able to get them released by customs.
We have ALWAYS agreed to cover up the word M——E (I’m not allowed to print the word but you know what I mean).Sanitarium have tried to get us to agree to lots of other things which they fail to mention and which would not have been viable for our business.
I’m not bothered how you think it looks whether we won or lost but I unlike you know the truth and not what Sanitarium want you to know.
We have always behaved with the greatest integrity unlike Sanitarium who think it’s ethically correct to phone people’s employers and threaten them because they support us and creating fake Facebook profiles to post comments.

Pull your head in and calm down mate. I have already said that as soon as the Court Documents are publicly available, I will publish them, so stop being abusive and making unfounded accusations. I have never lied about this case, and you making claims that I have won’t change that fact. You may disagree with my opinion of the case – but don’t you accuse me of lying! I am sorry if they are not appearing on my website as fast as you demand them – I actually have other stuff to do besides keeping you entertained and being your online punchbag!

I will also publish the documents showing what Sanitarium wanted Rob to sign – which is something they seem not to be showing their followers, and shows exactly what Rob refused to accept. (Some of that has already been published on here if you can be bothered to look).

I have also made it clear that “Gary’s” “Friend” is welcome to pass on any documents he has – and I will publish them. So far they haven’t appeared. Not sure if they are published elsewhere, but you are welcome to link to them in a comment if you know where they are. I am interested to read them myself, and despite what you appear to be trying to imply, I have no reason not to want them published.

At that point, you can see for yourself, that I have not lied. If I have got something wrong, I will accept that and correct the mistake with an apology.

I have made it 100% clear that as yet I have NOT seen the court docs. I don’t have “friends” in Sanitarium who are sending me stuff Although I understand they are emailing stuff out like mad right now to their followers.

WHEN it is available I will upload it to Scribd – Ive already said that but you appear to have missed in in your haste to be bitchy to me. So calm down, take a breath, get some fresh air and have some patience

to be perfectly honest Brent,I don’t care whether you or any of Sanitarium’s other supporters believe me or not.Rob and I have acted honestly and with integrity throughout this and have no reason to lie.But here it is again from the horse’s mouth-Sanitarium came to us-FACT.Whichever way your or anyone else wants to read the court papers in our minds and in all of our supporters minds we WON.Sanitarium finally came to their senses and decided to drop all the other ridiculous terms and conditions and allow us to do what we have always said we were willing to do and that is covering the word M—–E (the spread we’re not allowed to say) on the back of the jars.We CAN sell the Ma’amite and can keep the front label for our customers who want to keep the Jubilee limited edition jar.
In future we WILL be allowed to import UK M—–E (the spread we’re not allowed to name) with no problems from customs and are arranging our own labels with our own branding on.
So whatever way you and anyone else dresses it up-we have won,we have got what we want,we have had lots of publicity and have been very humbled by the many many people who have supported and continue to support us.
Rob is and has been a VERY successful businessman for many many years both here and in the UK and will have lots of success in the future.

BTW, I actually don’t give a flying toss if you “begin to wonder why…” I have not published something on my site. There is actually plenty of stuff about Sanitarium, and some of the crap their followers have tried to pull that I have not published. I simply don’t have the time or inclination to blog about everything I read or hear, especially as pertains to Marmite and the Seventh Day Adventist church / Sanitarium.

When I have them Brent- you will see them – I really can’t say fairer than that can I? In the meantime – if its facts you really want then you need to do some reading. Im sure there’s plenty on this blog, but much of that mixed with my opinion obviously and I gut the impression that you really wouldnt trust much I had to say But there are bucket loads of facts about Marmite, Sanitarium, Weetabix, Granola, Illawerra Bakery, Seventh Day Adventists, Tax Dodges, Charity Claims, all over the internet. Knock yourself out while you wait – all relaxed like, for me to get hold of papers you want to read. Of course – you could ask Sanitarium to make the papers publicly available. After all surely you will have asked them to prove their calims to you as well?

Sanitarium really look very silly now – and this must have cost them both in legal bills and in lost sales, as I doubt many UK Marmite eaters buy anything Sanitarium now.

Hey Marcus, thanks for the support – it’s been a longer than expected road.
I think with the volumes of Vegemite on the shelves now, it could be quite an uphill struggle for Sanitarium to regain their share.
But still – cereals is where a lot of the money & profit is!

Apparently in a Pepsi Challenge type taste test – people couldn’t tell the difference between their Shitemite and Vegimite.
