Donations open for the Christchurch Earthquake

I’ve finally found a few links for donations to help with the effects of the earthquake:

Red Cross New Zealand

You will need to choose the appeal you want to donate to.

Salvation Army New Zealand

You need to add in the free text box that you want your donation to go to the Canterbury Earthquake fund – they don’t have this set up already.

Edited to add:

Over coffee at Bambinos, we were discussing this, and it occurred to me that St Johns Ambulance ought to be included in this list. They don;t have specific incident appeals – but they are an organisation that relies on Donations rather than government funding, and they are as far as I can tell doing the bulk of the first aid call outs in Christchurch. You can donate to them here: St Johns Ambulance.
