This is the first year Ive not really kept on top of it - mainly cos im stressed to the gills, and cant be bothered. Every yera before ive actually really enjoyed cleaning the pool - but not this year. I havent even been to the beach much this year :( Is it a downside to a built in pool, i wonder, that you cant pack it away when you dont want to have to clean it :) That woudl be so cool about now! We bought a round pool from the Warehouse with a plug in filter etc. but we were lax with putting on the filter every day and adding the purification tablets. We had some fun over Christmas/New Year (when we were remembering to keep it clean) but then we kind of forgot about it and by the time the sun reappeared and we took the cover off it had turned into a health hazard and something befitting of a garden pond with worms breeding in it and goodness knows what else! My Dad, bless him, spent a full day emptying it, scrubbing it and then packing it away as I just knew we weren't going to keep on top of it with bubs arriving any day. I have to say it's really nice to have my patio back and the girls are more than happy with just a little paddling pool, trips to the community swimming pool and the beach.
