Dr Seuss does COP15
In case anyone missed it, world leaders took (emission offset) flights, along with 15,000 others (more emission offset) to Copenhagen to save the planet the other week. There were some protestors, who burnt things – I’m not sure that quite follows with the whole not emiting any CO2, ho hum.

Hi Helen
Long time no e-mail etc.
Just want to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and great 2010.
The year seems to have flown past (a sure sign of age) with many memorable family moments. One of the funniest was me getting hopelessly lost on a pedal bike in France and being rescued by a friendly local farmer! Needless to say I have not been near a bike since.
I do occasionally dip into your blog to see how things are going in NZ for you.
I still plan to be in NZ for the Rugby World Cup in 2011and continue to save hard for that.
The conversion of our Chapel will hopefully get underway next year and if so I will put some pics on a Chapel blog or something.

Its been a really quite christmas – which is how I like it – a few weeks off from the stress of Immigration woes
Let me know when you are arriveing for the world cup – apparently (and unsurprisingly) there arent enough hotels so Kiwis are expected to put tourists up. Our beds have your names on them if you need ‘em
