Fush and Chup Humour

I am in need of some humour – becauce I’ve had a tough few weeks of writing about really serious immigration issues and it is quite frankly doing my head in!

Sometimes, it can all seem a bit much – and it is good to look around and remember why we came to New Zealand, and that despite all the problems with INZ – it is worth the effort.

So here is a You Tube Video from Miss V all about the New Zealand Accent. I was having a chat with some friends of mine the other week about this: one of them is a Kiwi and the other a Englishman (who like me is Clearly English and not British) but who has been in New Zealand a long time. We had a lot of laughs over some very nice wine about how most of the time we can’t follow what each other is saying. Funnily enough – my english friend not only mumbles, but talks very fast and quietly – I keep having to get him to slow down and speak up. Thankfully he likes me.

And no matter how long I live here – it is Fish and Chips.
