Id like to say thats the worst that comes out in this report. Unfortunatley it isnt. Wading through it – I am really beginning to understand why so many people have problems with applications. It is truly depressing and more than a bit scary

Hi William, it’s a fair point. If you train people to only drive a process, then it’s not their responsibility or fault if a ‘wrong decision’ drops out at the end. It’s the process which got it wrong.
= no common sense
= no responsibility or accountability
= NZIS can never be at fault

My, doesn’t that sound familiar? Too many jobs are about following the process instead of using sensible judgement.

I think the reason there are systematic failures at NZI might be to do with the 5 day training course.

I mean, what can you learn in 5 days? How to pick you teeth? The computer says no!

I suppose they don’t want to train staff any longer in case they develop initiative!
